  1. << amiSPIM, a simple port of the SPIM MIPS RS2000/3000 emulator >>

  3. * amiSPIM-bin.lha contains the binary files needed to run ami[x]spim.
  4. * amiSPIM-src.lha contains the source needed to compile ami[x]spim. You'll also
  5.   need flex (or some similar lex derivative) libnet.a and gcc2.3.3. It should
  6.   be fully possible to compile spim with SAS/C, but I have not had the time to
  7.   do this.

  9. NOTE: The amixspim binary is compiled to run with DaggeX. It's been successfully
  10. tested with version 0.93.

  12. The Documentation is supplied only with the source distribution.

  14. To run amiSPIM:
  15. * Have ixemul 39.47 installed in libs:
  16. * Assign SPIM: to some spot where SPIM can find the trap.handler
  17.  (which is per default located as spim:lib/trap.handler).
  18.  
  19. Same applies to amixspim, remember you don't have to run a window manager to
  20. run amixspim, which saves you a lot of memory.
